10/16, Friday: Atoms, Cells, and Subs

Dearest Students,

I am at a conference today and this is what you should be doing:

  • Movie Worksheet
    1. Finish the worksheet that goes along with the movie. You can work together to get BOTH SIDES DONE.
    2. Correct the worksheet: Once everyone is done and have compared answers, correct your worksheet using an ANSWER KEY.
  • VOCAB BOX- ATOMS, DEAD, NON LIVING
    1. Go to your VOCABULARY SECTION and take out your VOCAB BOX sheet with ORGANISM on it.
    2. Add ATOM in the boxes beside organism and the other two on the back.
      1. NOTE- On ATOM, for examples, put CHARACTERISTICS OF AN ATOM instead of examples.
    3. The definitions for DEAD and NONLIVING are as follows.
      1. DEAD- Something that used to be alive but is no longer alive.
      2. NONLIVING- Something that has NEVER been alive OR used to be alive, but has died and been processed or changed into something else.
  • CORRECT LIVING/NON LIVING WORKSHEETS
    1. Use answer keys to correct your worksheets and fix any incorrect answers.
    2. When done put the worksheets and information packets in your INFO sections.
    3. Hand back the answer keys for the next class to use.
